BSL recognises that its operations have the potential to impact its employees and others in the community and therefore sets and enforces high standards for occupational health and safety (OH&S) management.
1- The CEO and Senior Leadership Team shall:
- a) Ensure compliance with all OH&S laws and international best practices.
- b) Provide safe, healthy work conditions by eliminating hazards and reducing OH&S risks.
- c) Setting, monitoring, and communicating clear OH&S objectives.
- d) Ensure all employees understand and follow the OH&S Policy and procedures.
- e) Empower staff to report unsafe conditions and behaviours without hesitation.
- f) Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in safety.
- g) Promote active employee consultation and participation in all OH&S matters.
2- All employees shall:
- a) Stay informed about the health and safety risks they face, and the steps needed to control them.
- b) Take ownership, individually and as a team, for maintaining a safe, healthy workplace.
- c) Follow this Policy and stay up to date with all relevant OH&S procedures.
3- Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Users:
- a) CVS leaders shall understand and comply with all applicable laws related to DSE use.
