Occupational Health and Safety Policy

BSL recognises that its operations have the potential to impact its employees and others in the community and therefore sets and enforces high standards for occupational health and safety (OH&S) management.

1- The CEO and Senior Leadership Team shall:

  • a) Ensure compliance with all OH&S laws and international best practices.
  • b) Provide safe, healthy work conditions by eliminating hazards and reducing OH&S risks.
  • c) Setting, monitoring, and communicating clear OH&S objectives.
  • d) Ensure all employees understand and follow the OH&S Policy and procedures.
  • e) Empower staff to report unsafe conditions and behaviours without hesitation.
  • f) Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in safety.
  • g) Promote active employee consultation and participation in all OH&S matters.

2- All employees shall:

  • a) Stay informed about the health and safety risks they face, and the steps needed to control them.
  • b) Take ownership, individually and as a team, for maintaining a safe, healthy workplace.
  • c) Follow this Policy and stay up to date with all relevant OH&S procedures.

3- Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Users:

  • a) CVS leaders shall understand and comply with all applicable laws related to DSE use.
